Here are a few common questions asked by our prospective customers.

How is the inspection scheduled?

Indianapolis Home Inspections is an affiliate member of MIBOR (Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors) so we have access to all the systems that your Realtors do. All you have to worry about when scheduling your inspection is the time that works for you and the inspector, we'll take it from there!

What is Radon?

Radon is a colorless and odorless gas that comes up from the ground. Studies have found that long-term exposure to the gas can lead to cancer or other health problems. You are strongly encouraged to do your own research to determine whether a Radon test is right for you but we can help answer questions as well. If there are dangerous levels in a home a mitigation system can be installed to help alleviate this problem.

Are you insured?

Of course! In fact, we carry twice what most inspection companies carry for liability. So far, we've been sued exactly zero times and we aim to keep it there.

When is payment made?

Payment is made at the time your home inspector has concluded your inspection. Payments can be made in the preferred form of cash or check, but we do take credit cards as needed.
